Overview
AGN International Festival in partnership with the African Travel Film Festival and Dream Magic Studios (a subsidiary of Silverbird Group) is gearing up for the festival's 3rd edition; a celebration of the brightest and the best of Nigerian films and television actors, and will feature a wide range of events, including a red carpet gala and awards, film screenings, panel discussions, city tours, workshops and seminars, where actors, filmmakers, and other creative professionals can network and learn from each other - as well as meet and engage with their fans and supporters in the diaspora.

What to Expect
Following the resounding success of its inaugural edition in Miami in 2023, followed by its 2nd edition in Los Angeles, California in 2024, the AGN International Festival eagerly anticipates its 3rd installment, poised to unfold yet again in Los Angeles, California. Renowned for its pulsating cultural razzmatazz, Los Angeles emerges as an ideal host, standing as the second most populous city in the United States and boasting a vibrant community of Nigerians and African immigrants. Amidst this eclectic blend of cultures, the festival promises to showcase the brightest luminaries of the Nigerian film industry, with over 100 Nollywood stars gracing the event alongside esteemed hosts, ensuring a dynamic convergence of talent and creativity.

The pre-event will set the stage for an unforgettable celebration of Nigerian and Global Cinema with distinguished actors, filmmakers, industry leaders & VIP Guests in an evening of glitz, glamour & golden pop culture celebration.

Meet Our Team
The AGN International Festival organising committee comprises seasoned Nollywood actors and outstanding media professionals. The team oversees the planning of the festival.
Dr. Alex Okoroji
Alex Okoroji is the Chairman of the Organising Committee and doubles as the Festival Director. She is an actress and member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria. She also serves as Director of Brand Communications & Relations in the AGN President's Cabinet.
Amb. Ify Okeke-Ozzoude
Ify Okeke leads the production team for the Organising Committee. She is an actress and member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria. She also serves as Chief of Staff in the AGN President's Cabinet.
Boma Akpore
Boma Akpore is an American based Nollywood Actor and Model. As Head of Marketing of the Committee, Boma's passion for promoting African talent and storytelling aligns seamlessly with the festival's vision of connecting Nollywood with the global stage. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
Chief Onwurah Ifeanyi (Agility)
Chief Onwurah Ifeanyi (Agility) is a respected leader and organizer with extensive experience in coordinating high-profile events and managing protocol operations. Known for his precision, professionalism, and commitment to excellence, the festival's protocol is in Agility
Yakubu Abubakar
YaKubu Abubakar is the current National Secretary of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and a seasoned technical expert with a wealth of experience in event management, production, and technical operations.
As the Technical Director for the 3rd AGNIF, Yakubu ensures that all festival events run smoothly, with state-of-the-art technical support and infrastructure in place. His meticulous attention and commitment to excellence guarantee that the festival’s technical execution is flawless, enhancing the overall experience for attendees, participants, and stakeholders alike.
Brown Ene
Brown Ene is a seasoned filmmaler, producer and production managementn expert. The immediate past Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Enugu State Chapter, he is currently the Special Adviser to the National President on South East Matter and the Director of Production for AGN International Festival.
Buky Fagbuyi
Bukky Fagbuyi is a seasoned logistics and event management professional, currently serving as the National Vice President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), South West Zone. With a wealth of experience in coordinating high-profile events and managing compound logistics operations, she has played a pivotal role in the successful execution of numerous industry events and initiatives.
As the Director of Logistics for the 3rd AGNIF, Fagbuyi brings her leadership, strategic planning skills, and deep understanding of the entertainment industry to ensure seamless coordination of all logistical aspects of the festival. Her commitment to operational excellence and her passion for promoting Nollywood’s growth make her an invaluable asset to the festival’s success.
Nnadi Dumkenenna
Nnadi Dumkenenna Odera is a dynamic multimedia expert and the Personal Assistant (Multimedia) to the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). With a strong background in multimedia production, content creation, and digital strategy, Nnadi has been instrumental in shaping the AGN’s multimedia initiatives and enhancing its digital presence.
As the Director of Multimedia for the 3rd AGNIF, he brings his extensive experience in multimedia production and his deep understanding of the entertainment landscape to oversee the festival’s visual and digital assets. His ability to blend creativity with technology ensures the festival's multimedia elements are engaging, impactful, and aligned with global industry standards.
Faith Itohan
Faith Itohan Omoregie is a skilled logistics professional with extensive experience in event planning, operations management, and strategic coordination. She has a strong track record of executing large-scale events with precision, ensuring seamless movement of resources, personnel, and materials.
As the Director of Logistics for the 3rd AGNIF, Faith is responsible for overseeing all logistical aspects of the festival, from venue management to transportation and on-ground coordination. Her exceptional organizational skills and commitment to excellence ensure that every aspect of the festival runs smoothly, creating an unforgettable experience for all stakeholders.
